Default Newbie with Envision 246bh 2020 or 2021 black water valve?

I don’t know much about rvs, but my friend knows more. He was surprised we couldn’t find a valve to close the black water tank so it could be dumped without a poop shower between uncapping and connecting a draining hose. I haven’t been able to find any mention of a surprise location for it, and youtube videos of other identical ones for sale seem to not have one by the cap, like mine. Is there one hidden well on these models? Or are they sold without them? If they are sold without them, is there any good news or do I need a hazmat suit?

Default More info

Okay I figured out that there are two holes in the frame just above the drain, where the valves are supposed to have handles. So the question is: do those handles unscrew if you rotate them? That would be easier to fix/replace than other possibilities.

The valves usually just slide open...pictures at this website will help you see how these work...

One pic is a different gulfstream envision from the same year or close, and I think mine (pic with measuring tape) was supposed to be the same but has holes where the valve handles should emerge.

You need to visually locate and inspect your gate valves. Remove panels or whatever you need to to find them, then you can see if the handles were removed, how they should be installed and routed. Good luck!
