Default Getting mail on the road

We've been RVing nearly a dozen years now and spend the winter months somewhere it doesn't snow.

Normally, we make a reservation in Florida or Arizona and take a few days getting there. Once we land, we stay around 3 months.

We operate a small business that can mostly be attended to via telephone. However, some invoices, checks, etc. are handled via the mail. During our stay, we have our mail forwarded to our location using the Post Office's Snow Bird service and get our mail once a week in a large pouch.

This winter we will be traveling the south and south-west. We don't know where we will be or how long we will stay at any location.

I'm sure we're not the first to travel this way, so we're looking for suggestions on how to get our mail.

The best solution we've come up with so far, is to stay for a couple of days in one place each week and have someone go to our house to package the mail and send it to wherever we happen to be. This sounds cumbersome and with the kind of winter they had here last year, there's no guarantee anyone can get to our house to get the mail.

Let's hear your suggestions and experiences.

Thanks in advance for you advice.

We've not done it, but I know of a number of satisfied folks who've used the Escapees mail forwarding service offered through FMCA.

I think an option there for folks on an irregular schedule is for them to hold your mail until you tell them exactly when & where to send it to you.
