Default Charging batteries on the 6400

Still learning. When I plug in the AC to the motorhome. Does the inverter charge my house batteries?

Default Re: Charging batteries on the 6400

I am not sure about the later models with an inverter. On my early model, the converter charges the house batteries. However, I have to add water to the house batteries monthly because it charges continuously and uses quite a bit of water in the cells.

I added a Trik-L-Start charger maintainer between the house and chassis batteries and now the converter is capable of keeping all the batteries charged.

Maybe someone with an inverter can answer your question directly.

Good luck,

TxTC
