Default Cold weather camping advice

I've never used my RV to camp in cooled weather... living in So Cal. and plan to camp in our local mountains with temperatures around freezing or lower and worry about my water system freezing. I heard all you have to do is turn on your compartment lights and you should be O.K. I not the confifident this is right. My coach is a 06 crescendo that was advertised as having the Artic package and heated holding tanks. I'm open for suggestion from all of you that live in cold weather.

When the heat is on in the coach it also heats the compartments. There are ducts into them. I think you and I have the same design. Charlie

John All you have to do is run your heat the compartments are heated ,running the cargo lights will not give off much heat, but you said you have heated tanks so you will be alright just turn them on. All I have is just the heat from the heater and have been out in 10 degree weather with no problem good luck but you should be ok.

Charlie & Earl

Thanks for the feed back. Somebody also told me to disconnect the water external supply line if it going to be below freezing and shut the water compartment door. This one kinda makes sence as the hose could split
