Default mysterious leak

We have a 2006 GS Independence. While out on a trip we developed a leak which presents itself under the front bunk. I say under
because the bed stays dry. My husband caulked as much as he could while on the road. My usual repairman left a phone message saying I probably need a new roof. YIKES!!
Does anyone know of a less expense repair? Is there a sealant that can be applied?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Default Re: mysterious leak

The same thing happened to me on a "new to me" 1998 GS Ultra. I used some 3M windshield sealant on the bottom corners of the rubber trim of cab over's front window and the leak is gone.
