Default filters location

Hello all. I'm trying to familiarize myself with the location of the eng. oil and fuel filters. I had hoped my owners manual would tell me. Hah! I'm disabled so I can't do much crawling or climbing to investigate. I have the 330 Cat. One fairly large filter is mounted in front of the radiator inside the rearmost large access panel. I can't see enough of it to determine it's use.
Also if someone could give me oil and fuel filter mfg. names and part #s
and type lube oil recommended by Cat, I'd be grateful. I'm getting the coach ready for a loooong trip and want to begin with everything fresh and would like to have filters and lube in hand when I visit my local service dude.
Thanks much.

That filter in front of the radiator is the primary fuel filter. It should have a see though cup at the bottom to drain the water.
Here is a PDF from Cat:
http://ohe.cat.com/cda/files/517742/7/LEHT9288.pdf
The part number is 175-2949. There is also a secondary fuel filter with you will need to go under the engine to see and service, along with the oil filter.
I believe all CAT RV engine has the shallow sump (19 Qts).

Some coaches only have one fuel filter/water separator it is a two micro filter without the primer. If it does have that set up when you unscrew the filter off and ready to install the new filter, you have to fill the filter with diesel fuel and then you screw it on because if you don't you will suck air into the system and you will really have problems then.
I buy the oil at Wal=Mart Rotella oil by Shell and the oil filter I buy it at Napa.

I also have a Gulf Stream Atrium 2004 year. It came with only one filter. Does not have the secondary filter
on the engine. This chassic was manfactured during the time period that Freightliner did not order the engine
filter installed on the engine. So you need to make sure you install the right filter. 2 micron. You should be able
to get the number off the side of the filter that is installed on the unit.

mpv is correct that the filter should be a two micron fuel filter. I have the same set up on my Cat engine.
