Default How and where do you store your sewer hoses?

I'm about to mount a piece of 6" pvc with conduit caps to the bottom of my rear bumper and it made me curious where other people store theirs and what creative ways are out there? Pics if you have them would be great!

I store all my hoses and connectors in a tote in my outside under bed storage

Was storing in tote in outer storage bay, recently went to storing in rear bumper to save space. Remove one hose cap when putting into rear bumper to push air out and then attach hose cap

My hoses won’t fit in the bumper so it’s apparently time to get creative.....cuz I needed another project...

Would help to know what type of unit you are working with.

Looks like you have a TT, Travel Trailer, my input would be for a 5240 BT Cruiser Class C.

I purchased a 10’ length of 5” x 5” PVC Fence Post and two end caps. I cut the post to fit under the coach, side to side and mounted to frame rails behind tow hitch. Attached 1 end cap with short screws and other end drilled a 1/4” hole through cap and post to fit a rod for removable cap. This set up holds two 10’ lengths of Camco orange sewer hose plus 2 5’ sections of PVC rain gutters (hose supports).

How did you attach it to the bumper?

Default Sewer Hose Stoage

We store ours in a tote after cleaning. A mount under the bumper will lower your ground clearance on a pitched surface.

I do realize that it will effect our ground clearance on a sloped surface but I really don’t want to store them inside the RV and we have almost no under rig storage aside from one small bay on the back corner which is where a bunch of other things are already tucked away.

That is our problem. My clearance right now is so tight I had to install quick releases for the stabilizer jacks so I can remove them before backing up the tracks to our house-side storage space. If I mount anything under, it would need to be as near the axle as possible.

I'm not the OP, but many thanks to everyone sharing. This is something I need to address real soon. The current storage in a garbage bag isn't cutting it. Lol

I guess it depends on the model of RV you have
I have a 2006 BT Cruiser 5291 and put mine in a small bay on the Drivers Side

fwiw: These are available at Walmart, Amazon, et al
Valterra brand, available in black, white, various lengths.
Cost a little more than home built but convenient

I have the Rhino brand sewer hoses. They fit in my bumper fine. You just have to make sure you take the piece off that fits in the sewer line and turn the connectors so that they fit as you push it in. For the elbow and I have a clean out connector. I have a small tote that fits in my storage area.

On my last RV (2014 Dutchmen Denali 289RK) I stored the black hose in the bumper. I bought the endcaps for the hose and the Air flow caps for the bumper.

New RV has a Pipe mounted underneath the propane tanks

I'd like to use the bumper but I've already noticed how the end caps wiggle out to some extent. i think I've read elsewhere that they don't last in the long run. Any truth to this? brand new here.

If you are talking about the factory endcaps they are not as good as the aftermarket ones.

The factory caps do have a tendency to shimmy out. Get some quality aftermarket caps. Like these

I used a 5x5 vinyl fence post and 2 end caps and anchored it to the remaining portion of the rear bumper. You can see it in the second picture...
