Default CB Radio

We have a 2006 Friendship G8. We want to install a CB radio. Any suggestions for a model that you have been successful with and any thoughts on the best place to install it. We are not too keen on adding one more thing to the dash. Thanks for any thoughts.

Dito on that question. I was thinking the same thing yesterday, maybe one of those under dash models that only the mic shows?

I have the Cobra model that Camping World sells it works very well and all that shows is the microphone with a very small box mounted behind a kick panel connected to the antenna. In my unit there was enough room to mount the box behind the kick panel and out of sight.

Ditto for me.

The Cobra at Camping World works fine for me as well.

It probably talks about five miles with the rubber antenna which is usually ok for me.

Default CB Another question

I think I read somewhere that the Cobra does not have a squelch. Is this true and do experience a lot of static? Thanks again.

Cobra here also. Bought it through Amazon.
Wondered how I ever traveled without it.
