Default Generator Transfer

Recently camping, high altitude, sometimes furnace won't work so this time I take along electric heater. Started generator, elect heater worked for awhile, then stopped. Also blew the microwave and 110v outlet. Not all. And, Coach battery level showed that generator wasn't charging the battery. After I got home, I plugged into 110 and microwave and everything works. Generator isn't transferring, tho' and micro doesn't work. Checked all 110 breakers, not tripped. Pulled 12v fuses. Not burnt, but nos. 2-4 didn't light up when I pulled. I tripped and reset all the breakers on generator. Anybody have any ideas? 2005 GS Enduramax. Appreciate all the help I can get.

Sounds like near the same thing that happened to a couple years ago.
The transfer switch time delay module went bad and wouldn't transfer to the generator providing the 120v to the coach.

Here's a link to my post from then and what I did: http://www.gsowners.com/viewtopic.ph...ransfer+switch

Hope this helps in your troubleshooting,
Ron

Thanks Ron. I pulled up a pic of the transfer switch from IOTA's website. I need to locate on my rig. My Breakers and fuses are located on cabinet sidewall as you enter the coach. Or maybe right next to the generator? Thanks for your help.

Les

p.s. this is enduramax with rear garage; no bedroom.
