Default Check Engine Indicator on Independence F53 Chasis with V10.

The check engine indicator on my 2008 Independence comes on intermitently. It will stay on until the engine is turned off and restarted. I took it to a Ford Dealership, and they said the On-Board-Computer was having trouble communicating and it possibly had a wiring problem that they could not troubleshoot. The engine seems to be running great. I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem and how you resolved it.
