Default Common ground

Do the coach batteries and chasis batteries use the same ground? I see that in some of the dicussions that it is important to be sure the grounds are clean. There is a different potential between my ground on the chasis and the ground on the coach. Thanks......

Jim, welcome to Gulf Stream Owners RV Forum. You should not have any voltage potential between the two grounds. Be sure to not only check the DC side of things but also the AC side as the equipement ground is bonded to the frame as well. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Thanks! I checked and grounded both battery sets and they both charge when on shore power.
