Default inverter

Hello all,

Super newbie to the RV life. We just bought a 2002 Sun Voyager with the ford chassis. Can anyone tell me what this is? There is a black panel under the table in the bedroom that says remote switch inverter on.

The inverter will convert 12 vdc from your house batteries into 120 v AC regular household current. It may provide power to one or more regular outlets, or it may only provide power to your refrigerator if you have a residential fridge. The remote switch will turn the inverter on or off. Turning it off when you don't need the 120 v AC will keep it from draining your house batteries.

There is also likely an automatic transfer switch that will sense when shore power or generator is connected and switch the 120 v AC loads to shore power or generator.

You also have a converter unit which will provide 12 v DC loads and charger your house batteries when you are connected to shore power or generator.

Thank you. I found the Converter that you were talking about. Now just have to locate the Inverter.
