Default Dual battery box on Vintage Cruiser 23RSS

Hi!

2021 Vintage Cruiser 23RSS hopefully arriving next week. Will a dual battery box (21" internal width, like 23" exterior) fit on the battery rack on the tongue? I've got my 2 6-volt GC batteries from my previous trailer.

Thank you!
John

I do not know the measurements of your existing battery box but the way mine is configured and welded, a double box would not fit by an inch. I could have someone undo the one side support and reweld it but that seems to be a hassle. Good luck

I forgot to mention that my trailer is a 199RK. There is room on the tongue mount to make it 22 inches which would accommodate a double box. I don't know why they don't make it that way

Thank you for the info! I had heard info that it might be too narrow. I think I am going to go with a cargo tray that mounts over the propane bottles and is supported by clamps on the tongue. I can put my batteries up there and then put a flat platform in the factory battery tray area as the perfect storage place for my little suitcase generator.

Default Battery box

I just bought a double battery box and it just fit where single box sat. Also have a Stromberg rack above tanks with my generator on it. All tight but fits Took out septic pipe container, store my pipes in a plastic box container. Also squeezed in a anti sway brackets. Front tongue is filled up. I have a 2021, 19csk

What brand of double box you buy that fit? I have about 20 1/2" x 8" to work with. The Camco box says that it is 21 1/2", but I 'm not sure if they are measuring the bottom of the case, or the bulge at the lid.
