Default Temperature Gauge

I have a 2003 Gulfstream Yellowstone, with a CAT 300HP, and it appears that the temperature gauge is bad.
I took it to the CAT dealer and they are saying that the gauge is over $200.00, just for the gauge?
I'm thinking I should be able to replace the whole gauge set for that, but I'm not sure where to look.

Is it feasible to replace the gauges with an electronic setup?

Thanks
