Default Replacing Engine Batteries - 1997 Tourmaster

The batteries on my 1997 Tourmaster are OK now, but can't figure out how to change them. Not the coach batteries, but the two back in the engine bay. There is an electrical box above them and they are not on a slide out. Anyone had to do this?

The batteries are often on a metal frame that has hold downs to keep them from shifting. Careful examination will often reveal how they are held in place. Once the hold downs were removed, I was able to tilt and remove the batteries one at a time.

Make sure you photograph and label all battery connections before proceeding. Many have made mistakes when reconnecting and caused damage to their electrical system!
