Default Hey All

New user here, just got a 2004 Gulf Stream Atrium 8411. I do have a question about accessing the generator. Is there a key that opens the panel in front to access the generator?

The generator door under the windshield on my 2007 Tour Master had two ACE style latches -- the matching key had large wings to turn the latch when unlocking and locking. The door had a central retractable handle and the door hinged out and down to access the four 6 volt inverter/generator batteries and the generator service items such as the coolant and the oil. Not sure if your 8411 is similar...

Below is a closeup view with the door open. The second image shows the ACE-keyed latches circled in red and the flush swivel out handle in the green rectangle:

Thats what I have. thanks. now to go look for keys lol. They weren't handed to me at time of sale (Private Sale)

That "key" is not specific to your coach -- it is the same removable handle for all the Southco latches used on these access panels. You can buy a pair of them for under $10 here:

Most GEN/ OR LPG access NOT KEY LOCKED for quick access to shutdown if problem

By the front door switch panel on the upper right

It says generator slide, it’s the Last button on the right on the panel above the awning controls

Default Onan 8HDKAK Bad Temperature sending unit.

My 3rd RV. Had to pull Generator out of each one, for Bad Temperature sending unit. Onan 8HDKAK. BUY ONE WITH A SLIDE OUT.
