Default Tail light replacement 2006 Independence

Multifunction tail light brake/turn signal not working. The parking light does work. I pulled out the unit which is labeled "Glo-Brite 9551". This is a sealed assembly. I tried to research it but apparently it has not been available for several years.

Has anyone come up with a solution for this?
Thanks for any help...................Jim

I have the same issue. Same GS Independence 2007. Does yours have the rubber seals around the lens. How did you get the wiring out of the lite housing/lens? Does it unsnap or pull down or pry off? lets hope someone replys,

You press in on an edge of the lens until it goes sideways, then you can pull it out.

It took a lot of silicone spray to get it to go back in.

You will find it is a closed assembly and I do not know what is inside.
If mine fails completely, I will take a Dremel and open it up.
