Default Fumble Fingers Blew A Fuse

Hello. Conquest 2003 Class A. Have been running it for 15 years.
Was changing one of the 'dining area / couch' bayonet light bulbs in the over-couch 12v lighting system and with a wonderful flash, all 5 lamps on the circuit stopped working. Haven't had that outcome before. Replaced all 5 light bulbs with no joy. Did check breaker panel under bed, but no breakers tripped.
Did check ALL fuses in the left front electrics basement compartment, but none appear bad. What fuse panel / location controls this lighting system and what fuse Amp rating am I looking for?
Any ideas regarding this issue will be appreciated. regards, Nova Scotia Fred.

You SHOULD have a power distribution panel for both 120VAC (circuit breakers) and 12VDC (fuses) at about midship of your coach. All of your lights are 12VDC. If the fuse was not in your forward drivers side compartment, it will be in the other 12VDC panel beforementioned. Hopefully this makes sense, I know there are ramblings on this forum.

Default 12v DC Lighting Fuses Location

Many Many Thanks, Master Chief !!
Chiefs have been helping me out over the years, especially when I wore RCN railroad tracks.
I will track down that 'hidden ' panel.
Best Regards,
Fred L

You may also want to check the reset on the inverter if it's not what was mentioned above..I have two pop out breakers for the 12v side on my inverter.
Good luck and happy camping!

Thank You, Bike Dr, for your reply and good idea.
Unfortunately my inverter doesn't appear to have any 12v fuse pop-outs ... That would be 'too simple'. heheheh If it would only stop raining in my location I would follow RY469's advice to locate that additional midships panel.
regards, Wyndflyer

I'm not sure of your set up as they change so much! But I did misinform you when I said I had two pop outs on my inverter I only have one. I have a freedom by xantrex. Stick with what rich told you he has a great deal of knowledge that will help you for sure! I just jumped in with a quick suggestion. But not to interfere!! Good luck!!

Default Fuse

Not a problem at all, Sir.
I appreciate your willingness to consider the problem and to offer comment. With RVs having such a myriad of 'arrangements', an owner has to consider input from all sources... and if it fits, grab it!

Wyndflyer

Default Fuse Fumble Final Fix

Hello, Team!
Success! Found the secondary panel (portside midships) hidden behind some carpeting, and with a handy fuse tester, located miscreant 10A. Replaced same and we are illuminated once more. Thank you Both Gentlemen for your good ideas and patience. Perhaps in the future, I will be able to 'pay it forward' and assist some other poor soul.
Best Regards, Fred L, Nova Scotia.
