Default basement storage key

Bought a 2004 Gulfstream Crescendo 8386 but I either didn't
get a baggage door key or either the locks don't work. Are Gulfstream
class A keys interchangeable with other Gulfstreams? If not, is a
locksmith my best bet? Thanks

For the most part all RV keys are the same. You should be able to go to any RV dealer and pick up a key they usually have keys that fit all the compartments for all different types of rigs. This is one of the problems with these type of locks all the dealers have the same keys that open and lock the compartments. So unfortunately my key will most likely work on your walk which means that theft can be a problem. You should have no difficulty getting a key though.

Default Compartment Keys/Locks

2003 Sun Voyager Trio - Replaced compartment keys with HF315 type key that's readily available online. Also WD40/Silicone sprayed the locks.

Replace your locks with new ones since all rv cargo locks are the same. This way you don’t have to worry about security issues.

I own anGulf Stream Scenic Cruiser. I replaced all lockers with new keys. Don’t use standard keys. It is a security issue.

Regardless of brand, most RV exterior compartments use the same CH751 key. Zero security. I once used my motorhome key at an RV show and opened all that I tried.

A better DIY lock is sold online with a barrel cylinder. Not foolproof. Anybody with a BIC pen can get in after watch a Youtube video. To change over all you need to know if the depth of the lock by removing and measuring what you have.

I also changed to barrel locks for extra security.

You can get them from Amazon or I got mine from E-Bay which was cheaper and free shipping.
