Default No power to refrigerator and some outlets please help

I am a new MH owner who needs help trying to get ready for a trip. I have a 2002 GSM sun voyager. Started generator to let it run awhile in the mean time tried TV, and outlets on passenger side where DVD player and surround sound is and no power at all. Found a breaker on end of bed that had tripped rest it and still nothing on outlets. Later I plugged it up to shore power still nothing also tried refrigerator it only worked on LP. Microwave next to it powered up. Only found 2 gfci outlets. One in bath other above kitchen sink. Tested bath and reset it. Tried to test other but button wouldn't
Make rest button pop out. Please if you have suggestions let me know.

If a gfci refuses to reset, it's because there's still a fault. (Basically, it's trying to, but immediately releases again.) You'll have to hunt down the short and fix it first. Start by unplugging anything and everything (including the fridge). If it still doesn't reset, then the problem is with the wiring itself somewhere. If it does reset, then plug things back in until it trips again. Whatever causes it to trip is at fault.

It's not tripped. When I hit the test button it doesn't trip it.

Gfi outlets are designed to trip when the test button is pushed. Could very well be a bad GFI. Pull the outlet and check for voltage at the wiring. If present, replace the GFI. If no voltage, check the controlling breaker.

Could also be a bad contractor or loose wire in the transfer switch. Both shore power and generator feed into the transfer. Transfer selects the source and sends the power to the breaker box.

Good luck,

Not familiar with your model mh so don't know if you have 30 or 50 amp input. If 30, everything is the same until the breaker box. If 50, then the transfer is first in line. Transfer switch will be at the RV end of the shore power cable. Need to get your voltmeter out and start tracing voltage. If you're not familiar with a voltmeter, find someone that is.

Good luck,

Are you sure there's power on the circuit? A GFCI won't trip if there's no power. (The test button causes a short, which is what causes it to trip. If there's no power to the circuit, it won't detect a short.) I'd start at the power distribution center (main breaker panel) - perhaps the breaker is tripped. Switch it off and back on (even if it looks like it's on - sometimes they don't move much when tripped). If you don't know which one it is, just switch them all off and back on. If that doesn't do it, perhaps the breaker is bad or loose. Another possibility is that the wires inside the breaker box have come loose. The GFCI itself could also be bad - to test that you'd need to remove it and install another. I'd do that after being sure everything appears to be okay with the circuit at the breaker box.

If you're tripping a breaker there's a short somewhere. There are many places this could be including an appliance, within a junction box, wiring with insulation that has rubbed off, or wiring that's been pinched. If it's not an appliance (easy to eliminate by just unplugging everything) it can take a while to locate. How to start: unplug everything, see if the breaker still trips. If not, then it's an appliance and you can just start plugging them in until the breaker trips and repair/replace the one that trips it. If it's not an appliance, then your only choice really is start tracing the wiring from the breaker until you find the bad spot. On a trailer, this is not an easy task...
