Default Thermostat E4 Code

I have a 2021 BT Cruiser 5245 that has a furnace, not a heat pump. Temps dropped below 30 F last night and will be close to 20 tonight so as a preventative measure, I turned on the furnace and set it to 52 degrees (It’s not being used right now). When I came back to check on it the thermostat was showing an E4 code which I have found out pertains to:
“E4 Open circuit or out of range Outdoor Temperature Sensor (select models). Heat Pump operation will be locked out. Air Conditioner, Fan and Furnace operation can continue to operate.”
My question is, because it IS freezing outside, is there anything I should do? The furnace seems to be working fine, and I have no heat pump. I’m assuming everything is okay but I would love some verification! Thank you.
