Default 19ERD electrical issues

Day after we picked up our 19ERD, the electric jack stopped working. We were able to manually jack it up to unhitch the car at our seasonal site. One week later, the main interior lights suddenly stopped working. Electrical issues are not my strength - any ideas where I should start looking to fix this?

Thanks, will check. Thought that less likely as everything else electrical is working, but maybe that's b/c I'm plugged into shore power?

since your 12v camper battery typical powers these items you mentioned, a 'low' battery will cause many issues - and, although you are 'plugged in' to Shore Power, it sounds like your Converter is not charging your Battery, while plugged in, like it should.

My gulfstream was missing the reverse polarity fuses in the fusebox, the battery only charged from my truck. get someone with a voltmeter. If you plug in shore power, you should see around 13.4 volts , perhaps 13.2 to 13.8 volts. when you don't plug in shore power, the battery itself should be around 12.2 for 1/2 charge to 12.6 for full charge. if it has just been on shore power, it could be floated up to 13.2volts. this is all DC voltage. if you hook up the battery backwards you can blow those reverse polarity fuses. make sure the battery connections are correct. the jack should go up and down to match the markings on the switch.
