Default Dewald Leveling System

Reading the previous post about converting the manual leveling system to an auto reminds me that I do not like the way my manual Dewald works.

I would like to have one switch operate one jack. In other words, one switch for each corner. But, my Dewald has 4 switches, one for the two on the front, one for the two on the rear, 2 left and 2 right. The problem I have is when I try to lower one corner just a little the complete side drops. Does everyone have this problem, or am I doing something wrong?
