Default Fresh Water Tank in 199DD

Hi! We're relatively new owners of a travel trailer and are slowly learning the ins and outs of our camper. I just can't seem to find anything on the fresh water tank and where the drain is located. We have looked under the trailer and can't find any handle or pipe to drain the water. In the past we have just run the water through the sink turning on our pump but would rather not if there is a simpler way.

Are we not looking in the right spot or are we missing something?

Please help!

Thanks.

Not familiar with your rig but most have the valve right at the edge of the tank. Look on the end of the tank and you’ll likely find a short hose from the tank and a valve with a 90 degree elbow. Open the valve and water should drain through the floor.

Good luck,

Our 2020 Envision 22UDL has a drain plug located on the fresh water tank that has to be unscrewed much like the drain on the hot water heater. I have to lay down on the street side and reach under the trailer to unscrew the plug.

(and often) the valve is a little SMALL BLACK T-HANDLE, where you LIFT (not turn) the T to drain. I have seen several photos where owners found them, but did not realize what they were, or how they operated. My three drains (Fresh, Hot/ Cold) are in outside compartment w/ Water Pump? Have read of some FWT and drains in trailers being under bed, some under Dinette bench seat? (Electric under the (other) bench?)
