Default Cruse control or speed control help

I have a 2005 Gulf Stream independence model 8330 with a 2006 Ford V10 6.8L chassis, my cruse control is not working I hit the "on" button on the steering wheel and the dash indicator will not light. All was working fine a week ago, I could press the "on" button and speeds above 30mph it would set the cruse speed by pressing the set button. I have checked the resistance of all the steering wheel combinations and all resistances checks out at the PCM C175b connector. I have also checked the brake switch under the dash and the break pressure switch connected to the hydraulic brake line. Any other suggestions on easy things to check. Not sure if the speed control uses vacuum reading at a specific value but this engine has 17 inches of vacuum idling.

Default Sending Unit

I have read here before that the sensor is located on the rear end housi
ng. There was a fellow called Restorium that recommended taking the sensor off and taking it to a Ford dealer parts department o get the right one.

Good luck

There is a speed sensor on the trasmission, i might take it off and buy a new one. I was thinking that because the speedometer works fine this may not be the problem. Thanks for the sugestion.
