Default What is this dash rocker switch? 06 Crescendo 8356

06 Gulf Stream Crescendo 8356.

I can't figure out what this lil switch does. It's a spring loaded rocker switch. Doesn't toggle the mileage display to a trip computer or anything, all that is on the CAT computer to the left. Sorry it's not a good pic, I pulled it off the internet.

Perhaps the trip reset switch? Push and hold for a second to reset trip meter.

Nope...like I said, doesn't affect the odometer readout and the trip funsions are on the cat computer to the left of the dash cluster.

Dash that is also used for vehicles without a Cat trip computer. So that rocker has a use for those vehicles but not enabled on ones with the trip computer.

Odd, mine works on both. But you have to hold in for awhile to reset for both trip A and B...

So your odometer on the dash changes to trip? Mine does nothing....at least not with that switch or anything else I can find. Odometer just shows total miles.

Well on mine what that switch does is for the speedometer if you want it to read in miles per hour or kilometers.

It's an analog speedometer in mine.

I have a Cat motor and Cat trip computer and that switch does my trip reset. You have to hold it down for a while.
