What is the pressure that you are seeing and where are you measuring it at? Freshwater pump water pressure should be about 50 PSI. City water, of course, depends on what they are supplying to you.

Have you tried taking the shower head off the hose and see what you get directly out of the hose? You may just need to replace the junk shower head supplied by the factory with a better one like Oxygenics.

I would take the discharge off the water pump. Put that in a bucket and have a partner turn on the city water. It should backlog out if the disconnected piping and see what you get.

But a pressure gage would really help too.

Hello it is very possible that a hose washer got shoved in the main line restricting the pressure and went unnoticed. I have come across this In the past just something to look for .
Remove the line where the main line ties in to the Tee for city or tank fill and blow 40 psi of air pressure backwards through the line and it should clear out anything in the line..
This should help in solving your pressure issue.. good luck!

If low at ALL faucets, suspect pump. If low at ONLY one fixture, remove/ clean the screen on faucet tip. If you have a WHOLE HOUSE CANISTER FILTER mounted under-counter somewhere, replace it. Good Luck

Default Pump Filter

I have a 2003 Sunvoyager as well and started having issues with water flow/noise from the water pump a year or so ago. Turns out there is a filter/screen on the suction side of the water pump that I hadn't cleaned since I purchased the RV. Low and behold, problem solved. Of course, that wouldn't explain having issues with city water since that by passes the water pump. Good luck.

On the topic of water pumps... what's the optimal GPM? What's the highest pressure the system can reasonably handle? 50 psi?

Most pumps have a 55PSI shut off pressure switch. Many are in the 3 to 4 gallons per minute flow rate range, a few are listed at 5.3 gallons per minute.

Fixed pressure external regulators for the park (shore) water inlet are often 35 to 45 PSI...and adjustable ones go up to 65 at most typically. I suspect thast the coach plumbing is tested/rated to a bit more than that, but no need to stress it.

I guess you havent found the problem yet. My 2 cents is If it is low on both pump and city then it has to be a restriction after those 2 plumbings are common.

Is it equally low at all out lets? Is it equally low on hot and cold?
then its upstream of the first outlet, but after where city water and pump are common.
