Default Removal of the Rear Camera Monitor

Anybody know how to remove the rear camera monitor on a 2007 Endura 6340? Or where I would intercept the wires to tie them into the new Digital Head Unit I installed?

I tried to pop it out and pulled on the molded mount on the headliner but afraid I'm going to break something. It doesn't want to budge. I've searched and searched and cannot find any information.

I would like to get the monitor out and see how it's wired. I'm hoping there are RCA connections on the back that I can utilize with a Y adapter and a patch cable. I just can't for the life of me figure out how to get the thing removed!

It would be nice to have both display when shifted into reverse.

Thanks in advance!

If you figure it out please post what you find. It is time to upgrade the one on ours as well.

Ya I still haven't built up enough nerve to pry any harder than I have already tried. Mine works fine just seems silly to not utilize my Alpine Head unit display since it has backup monitor pre-out built in.

I don't see a lot of activity on this forum so doubt I'll find the answer here
