Default Just a Thought

What I am thinking is: the MSN GROUP SITE that I am working on could

be used as a "Real Time" Chat Room for the GSOwners site.

We could put in a "Link" to go and Chat when we are on .... or....

We could designate a day or night or time or all the above.

Hey, Ron, Earl and gsadmin, give me some feedback.

If you would send me your E-mail addy , I'll send you an "Invte to

look at the site. We could have any number of members on at the

same time and interact typing and reading.

I am working on a "disclaimer" for the front page so GSC Mngt.

doesn't come un-glued.

Best Regards, Clyde ([email protected]/)

Yes, do be careful about the actual or implied use of the Gulf Stream name. Our admin-owner can tell you what it's like to meet their corporate lawyers up-close & personal.

They don't play fair ... they play like ... well, ...lawyers.

First of all, read my other post regarding the chat feature.

Second, in terms of using the name, using it to describe what you own is different than labelling your site "THE OFFICIAL Gulf Stream Chat room".

The nice thing about this forum now is that we are the only Gulf Stream specific forum out on the net and we have a big member base now with quite a heap of messages. My intuition is at this location, due partly to our size and organization, we will be left alone for the most part. Let's hope so. The more we stick together and the more we build our ranks, the more influence we will have with the factory. I think purpose of sites like this is very misunderstood by those that are newbies to the internet. They often think it is only a sounding board for negativity about their brand...this is far from true...the reality is it is a huge asset for them as I for one love my coach and this forum allows all of us to sound off on Gulf Stream positives as well as the negatives. Additionally, as always, GS staff are welcome to come here and chime in...it could only help their cause.

Lets keep this 40-footer moving guys!

gsadmin,

Very well stated and I agree. There are plenty of positives about our Gulf Stream products that we own. We don't want to give the impression that GS owners are all dissatisfied with our RV's which I believe is far from the truth.

I do wish that the GS staff would join us here, but I think they have a fear of being abused by some. Hopefully they will join us in the future and everyone will behave like ladies and gentlemen that we are or supposed to be. It sure would be an asset to have Gulf Stream support for this forum.

Hello gsadmin and ron, I agree we don't want Gulf Stream Inc.
to be upset, and I agree they should at least have an interest in
what buyers are saying and the problems they are having.

I, also, love my coach, and I would buy another GS product.

Your system of CHIT CHAT is not in real time nor does it have any
specific time frame. I would like you to visit the site and give me your
feedback.

've included a disclaimer on the front page and a link, back to this site.

Best Regards, Clyde

What i was saying is not that you all should use the "Chit-Chat" forum as a Chat application. I was saying that I could add one easily if i thought it would get much use. But, then why reinvent the wheel...just about everyone has one form or another of IM (Instant Message) such as MSN messenger, Yahoo Messenger, etc. If you all shared your IDs in your profiles you could use a far better chat platform with one of those than you could in an MSN group.

gsadmin, you are incorrect on using the IM. Groups in Windows Live is different than yahoo and Google and so on. You do not have to be a member of MSN to use Msn Groups and anyone (or IPS) can apply to that
room or be invited.

Check it out http://groups.msn.com/GulfStreamOwnersForum

It has a purpose and we can control it. Clyde
