Default 17.5 / 19.5

Hi All, Has anyone tried /or is contemplating installing either 17.5 or 19.5 commercial truck rims and 12 ply tires on their class C rigs? I have! Let me hear your experiences if you have. Rich in TN.

Rich welcome to GS owners forum. I think you will find a very limited choice of tires in the 17.5 size I had them on a 1978 Winnebago and they were hard to get in 1989 only one or two company's made them I don't now about now? Maybe they are coming back.

Default 17.5 / 19.5 tires

Hi Earl, Ron, The 17.5s are coming back. Not a big choice yet, but good. That's why I went with 19.5. What a nice difference in road feel and sense of stability. Doesn't "waddle" around either. Close fit under the wheel wells of the E-350 chassis, especially the fronts. I also added Bilstein shocks. Rich
