Question TV antenna strength 2003 BT

I will be taking a trip in my 2003 BT 5230 around the USA. I’m doing it on the cheep staying in federal campgrounds $10-$25 a night. That means no cable or WiFi. I like to watch those local channels to get the news and weather in the morning. I seem to get them in using the original roof antenna on my new flat screen but most are ghosting and breaking-up. Any suggestions how to bring them in better?

If you have a smart phone create a hotspot and buy Roku or amazon and stream from the phone.

When streaming it's hard to get the local stuff.

Couple things, you don’t say what antenna you currently have but all should have a switch to turn on the amplifier. Is your red light on?

If you have the crank up Winegard like I did, this make for a world of difference.

I remembered there was a red light when we first bought the rig. Took it to our mechanic Just a little fuse. Thanks so much. Its work great now.
