Default fuel filter on GM motor

I have an '03 Voyager with the gas GM / Workhorse set up. I have looked around and can not find the fuel filter easily. The one thing I have not done is open the engine compartment hood inside the coach between the seats. I have been told it is not easy to do so. I am guessing it must be there, but thought I would ask first.

Thanks! Ben
