Default Slide Problem

We have a 2005 Crescendo triple slide. I have noticed lately that the dining area slide does not stay closed when I have it parked. It kind of starts to creep very slowly open over the period of a couple of days. I have no idea what is causing this and would appreciate any suggestions.
I am not sure if the hydraulic fluid is full but I have never noticed any leaking

Curt

Curt, I would check the fluid with all slides in and jacks up! On mine the fluid always goes down a little over the summer so I check it all the time, If the fluid is low one of the valves could be sticking, First figure out which valve is the one for the slide that is moving, then make sure that it is clean and not leaking also air in the line can cause this.

Hope this helps you some.

Earl

Default Slide Problem

Earl,
Thank you for the advice, I will try that, also, forgot that I have seen my stabillizers leak down on some occassions. I wonder if these two events are related?

I had the same problem with our sun voyager.
It is most likely low on fluid. I had a small leak and the same thing was happening. Slide creeping out and slow to open or close.

Default slide problem

as for a slide problem, we have a 08 inderpendance 8360 and the galley slide rollers went through the slideout floor. we took it to Flagship RV in clearmont fl and repaired the problem. they put steel plates on the slide out floor for the rollers to run on. replace all the wire in the slideout, cleaned out all the trash the factory crew left, supported all the electral, and lp gas lines so they wouldn't shred as they did before. the teck George worked for 2 days, not spending time with smoke, and coffee breaks. only stopping to get a helping hand when needed from another tech, Ron helped him when he needed help of 2 people. they gave us the best service we have ever had in all our years of RVing. we strongly recommend Flagship for all RV needs.

Good to know. Perhaps you could put a service review at this website.
