Default car hauler

Does anyone know where to get an open deck car hauler like U-Haul rents?
I live in po-dunk Missouri and they're scarce as hens teeth around here.
Why shucks, I even checked Frog Hollar, Hen Peck and Cow Corners.
No luck at all! Thanks.

Can't answer your question, but I think you would be much better off flat towing your toad. Easier hooking up and you don't have to find a place to store your trailer-dolly when you reach your destination.

Thanks holmesaw. I'll check with Hyundai about flat towing.

We flat tow our Hyundai Tucson (manual transmission). Check with your dealer if your Santa Fe can be towed the same way. As an aside, the manual said "no", but there was a service memo from Hyundai that stated it was allowable with manual transmission and other provisions. If you find you need the memo # let me know. Thanks for the in-put Charlie. I've agonized over this til my head hurt. I'm going to get a car hauler so I can stick either of two cars on it, strap em down and boogie AND I can back up with a car hauler. I know I'll face the occasional too short RV pad but, so be it.
Best wishes.

I doubt that you'll find backing a car dolly to be a real workable solution. So are you talking about a full deck car trailer?

Hi Jenn & Pete. I'm referring to a dual axle solid deck car hauler. I'm told my Hyundai is too heavy for a "dolly" even if I could go that route. The way I look at it, I'm not putting wear & tear on my toads tires, wheel bearings, etc. and it's above most of the sand, pebbles, and road grime kicked up by the coach. As a bonus, when I got the trailer home I discovered the paint on the car hauler matches the coach. AND as I said, I can back a car hauler if I pull in somewhere I shouldn't have. Happy trails!!
