Well, its all hooked up and the camper is loaded and ready to go. All I have to do is put the keys in and go. My wife gets of in 4 hours and then we head to NJ to visit family for the weekend. I love taking my own bed and bath with me (and my own stash of beer)
I got the brake buddy in and tested.
The blue ox acclaim hooked up.
Saftey chains on and the breakaway wire on.
Magnetic lights on and plugged in and tested.
Transfer case in N and parking brake off.
Brake sensor is plugged in and the remote and tested.
I have to put the key in and turn to the first position (OFF/unlocked steering)
I hope I didn't forget anything. Wish me luck. I am open for advice for the next few hours.
And to think this is all to go see my MIL
Just kidding. She is up from TN and visiting my DW's sister and the grandkids. I have to turn my son over to his mother for Easter anyway and then I get him and his brother back Sunday night. My youngest son lives in MA with his mom until this summer, then he moves in with us. I am so excited.
We will also be trying out the new inverter for the first time. I hope to get by with just battery power this weekend. We have a bank of 4 12v batteries. Most of the activity will be in the SIL house so it shouldn't be a problem.
Anyway, Happy Camping to all of you and enjoy the weekend.
