Chat Room
OK, gsadmin, if nothing else, I accomplished getting a "Chat Room" established on this site. I guess it's true that even "Old Dogs" can learn new tricks. Don't be offended, just my own California Warped sense of Humor.
Thanks for recognizing that there just might be an audience for this feature.
Best Regards, Clyde

No biggie, i probably never would have done (just because it was a hassle) it if I hadn't seen the chat-application offered "no-charge" and "turnley" from my hosting provider. Putting the link up took not much effort, now we will see if anyone actually uses it
As I said, enjoy!

I think chat times should be set! If not chances are no one will be there when people visit. Just a thought.

Yes, you are correct Earl, There needs to be a set time at least one day a week to start. I'm sure that coolchas, liz and flyboy will participate.
IRV2 has theirs on Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 pm. I would suggest a
different night so there is not a conflict. Since MSN is closing down their Chat Rooms that means mine is History. I'm will be checking in at 8:00pm
Wed. until a schedule is created.
Best Regards, Clyde

I've been enjoying the chat room. Its kind of hard to get someone in there when I am on but I keep trying. Usually when I am on the site I log into the chat room at the same time. I have to screens and put the chat room on the second screen. Sometimes (and I appologies) I am logged on but reading the other screen and someone pops in and says hi. That is great but sometimes they are gone before I notice someone entered the room. Sorry about that for those of you I have missed.
Is there a way to have a audible tone go off when someone posts a message on the chat board. It would help me alot if it can be done. I think it would help others out to if there was one. That way if someone burries there chat room screen under another screen they will hear that someone posted a message in the room. Just a thought.
If you see me logged into the web site and want to chat try the chat room, there is a good chance I will be there.
Happy Camping.

To be certain, is there a specific time you folks are all in a chat room?...or has this idea fallen by the wayside?
