What brand/model AC do you have? My 21 23RSS has a Dometic Evolution that is pretty simple. Seeing the lack of workmanship on mine my first guess is either a wire nut in the AC unit was loose or the wirelug on the breaker isn't tight. My AC is very simple with no control boards.

Dometic brand not sure on model but has no controls at the unit all controls are done at the thermostat control board part on Amazon I was going to have to buy
Dometic 3316234.716 Single Zone CT T-Stat w/Control Board Kit (Cool/Furnace/Heat Pump) - Black
but did not need to buy, wire nut burned up in the grey control box,
hope this helps anyone else

Ours has the controls on the underside of the unit. Fan runs all the time and the compressor cycles as needed. Glad you found the problem.

There is a 3-minutes timer on many thermostats or relay circuit board to to prevent compressor damage and allow pressures to equalize pressures before starting? Good Luck

AC had to be replaced on ours before we even picked it up and it was brand new, I hope this isn't a bad omen. Glad it was a simple fix
