Default Cabin battery hookup

I have recently purchase a 2006 gulfstream model 5291 class b motor home . (30ft)It did not have cabin battery. There are 2 leads coming from the control box located on the chassis frame located very near the battery compartment.

I would guess both of those leads should be attached to positive battery terminal. I see and know the ground terminal wire in that battery compartment area. Guidance on this issue greatly appreciated.

If Battery leads are BLACK/WHITE, black= POS+ but if leads = RED/BLACK, THEN RED= POS+. Are the wires heavy battery cable, or smaller, and what color?

WARNING, DO NOT get confused by a split black corrugated plastic wire protector sheath, crack the sheath open and verify the wire color inside.
