Sounds typical of Camping World with their high turn-over rate of "technicians." If they don't have a rain booth to water test your unit, then I'd suggest a garden hose on the roof (and maybe two people) as a good way to track down the issue. Have you tried that?

Many times there are large fuses (the kind that are black square block with a red arm that pops out when tripped) mounted near the battery compartment on the frame. Have you tried physically tracing the renegade wire you "brushed to power" to see where it goes?
