As stated in the title I have an '05 atrium limited edition the contour microwave / convection oven has no power but the plug does does anyone know if it has a fuse or not they can be replaced.
The most likely cause is a
blown internal main fuse or a tripped thermal safety fuse.
Contour units have a 20-amp fuse behind the control panel or behind the top exterior vent that blows when the unit overheats or experiences a power surge
A fuse rarely blows on its own. It is often caused by opening the door while the timer is running, a faulty door switch, or an overheating magnetron.
The main fuse is usually located behind the top front grille/vent or near the power board where the cord enters the unit.
Tools Required: Typically a Phillips screwdriver and a T15 or T20 Tamper-Proof Torx bit to remove the vent cover/grille.
UNPLUG THE MICROWAVE
Remove the top exterior vent cover (usually 2-3 screws on top, or accessible after removing the trim kit).
Locate the gray or black housing behind the control panel, usually on the right side.
Remove the screw that secures the control panel and tilt it out to access the main board.
Inspect the fuse for a broken filament or blackening.
If the new fuse blows immediately, you likely have a faulty door switch or a shorted high-voltage capacitor.
Microwaves contain high-voltage capacitors that can hold a charge even when unplugged. If doing this yourself please be careful, if not it's best a trained professional do the job.
