Hi y'all. Has anyone done a tail light conversion on their rig? I bought new LED tail lights for the coach and they have four wires instead of the three from the previous assembly (not including the separate reverse bulb wiring) . I'm assuming it's because I have a dedicated turn signal instead of integrated. Wondering if anyone has done this mod and has any tips.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Hello, it sounds to me that you could have two wires that will do the same thing as in
Depending on the size of your particular light may need two wires for say upper and lower brake function or running lights if that makes sense!
Example
Wire 1 green say ground
Wire 2 red upper brake lp, if you have duel brake lps
Wire 3 brown lower brake lp " "
Wire4 yellow running or maker LPS
Now this is just an example you should be able to use a battery and bench test your light to see how the particular functions work and Wire to your coach accordingly.
I hope this make a little sense you could have duel running LPS not brake LPS the test should tell you all you need to know assuming your are correct on the reverse Wire being separate!
