2008 Tour Master T40C slide seal replacement

My wife and I purchased this 2008 Tour Master T40C in July of this year and are living in it full time. I retire in a couple of years are are trying to get some issues completed before then. The issue I'm having at the moment are the slide wiper seals. Does anyone know where to get them and how to replace them. I am doing most of the work on this RV myself and any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I had my slide seals replaced, I had a shop do it. This was when they also replaced the UHMW plastic strip that the room slides on at the bottom...so the work took more skill/experience than I felt was a 'do it yourself' project.

You can get just about every seal you need from Steel Rubber Products. Their website is www.steelrubber.com.
I replaced my slideout seal and several basement door seals. The slideout seal is a 2 person job on a hot sunny day. You have remove your slideout cover if you have one. The springs can be dangerous so be careful. Lay the new seal in the sun until it is soft and flexible. Lay the old seal next to it and mark the bends. The seal basically snaps in place and you screw down the ends.

If your UHMW slide rails need to be replaced that is not a DIY job. My coach did not seemed to be used much so no need to replace.

Congrats on the purchase! I just had a shop in Elkhart replace all of my blade seals. They did a horrible job and I had to go in and repair a bunch of their work. To do the replacements, it's honestly not difficult but you'll need to be patient for the upper blade seals since you have the slide toppers on. That said, they do slide along the knife edge - just double check that they remain seated on the knife edge when complete.

Mine on my 2000 Conquest was ripped loose on bottom on one side; measured and bought online at Home. Some steel products on Amazon/ eBay, mine was "double barrel", about $4/foot in 25-ft roll ($100)+ shipping in 2017. Original was white, but all I could find was black. I only replaced the vertical on rear. I Had to adjust slide position front/back/ height, which is why it was torn off, (no clearance); It was a bit of a challenge but got it done and then adjusted slide to center using jacks and wedges, etc. I suspected the PO/flooring guy maybe loosened slide to do flooring, but also put barrel chair back wrong; roofing guy messed up awning, (spring not broken, just one spring not wound); one roof vent installed backwards, that wudda been the roofing guy, LOL. Winds at highway speeds want to lift/ open roof vents when hinge put to rear vs front. Two of three vents were installed properly.
