Hey all,

First time here. Looking for insight because the quotes I've got for repairs are as much as I paid for the trailer. I hit a low hanging branch that just demolished the driver side corner below the roofline on my trailer.

All pictures are attached of the damage. The damage is all below the roof line.

Is this something anyone has ever fixed? I'm pretty handy but haven't worked on any travel trailers before. Should I just fix the inside portion and then let an RV dealer handle the exterior?

Any advice is appreciated.

Body shop for repair

I would suggest you go to a body shop for the outside repair. A reputable collision repair can do it and I found them to be much faster and less expensive than RV repair places.

Ouch, that's some damage. I would say fix it yourself. Cut out the damaged siding and replace it with some sort of plastic or metal panel.
