2021 5210 Tank Capacities Seem Lower Than Published

Recently adding tank monitors for our 2021 5210. Checking the tank capacities. Our sticker from the cabinet states that the Water Tank holds 35 gallons. The water heater 6 gallons. There is nothing about the Black and Grey tank capacities?

The issue is I don t believe that the fresh water tank holds 35 gallons.
I filled the black and grey tanks and drained them into a bucket. I measured 30 gallons for the 2 tanks combined.

The capacities from the internet. Black and Grey tank capacities are exaggerated?

I did look at the GulfStream website for the current year 5210. It professes the black and grey hold 26 each. Still not what you measured.

The 38 number for the gray and black is what site GulfStream site says for the 5255 which I have. I have no facts on what it actually holds, but based on previous mh's the 38 is a bit high.

I have found many discrepancies in the web site, documentation, and as delivered information. To be fair, this is true across the industry.

Be careful using AI responses as fact though.

Our goal is to do more boon docking. So our tank capacities are more important. We have added solar, B2B, and batteries.

We are back from a trip south. We had some good luck with disconnected camping. Harvest Host, Crackle Barrel travel days. Water management is a big thing.

Just curious, when you say south, what does that mean as your location of Northern could be anywhere from Maine to Washington. Or Canada. Although a bit more defining than mine - United States.

To me South means Dixie.

Took a trip south to Florida, then went west to Texas, then north to Oklahoma finally east to “Northern”. 7000 miles. Had to quit because gas prices started going up?
Had 3 issues on the trip.
Our 12 volt Norcold refrigerator had the control board flake out. Replaced it in Corpus Christi. The control board.
The driver side ball joint shim started working out of its slot. Was able to push it back down and torque the 15mm bolt and it held.
The retractable steps would not retract. Found a loose connection.
Also lost 2 hub caps.

My 2016 has 26 gallons each fresh , gray , black
