2024 Vista Cruise Spin Weld cracked on fresh water tank.

Has anyone ever experienced a crack in the spin weld fitting on the fresh water tank, and if so please let me know if it can be repaired at home or if it needs to be put in the shop? Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I had that issue after only two uses. Luckily my trailer was just barely still in warranty. I looked at a way to repair at home, as I do everything else around the house and am a professional HVAC mechanic, and didn't find a way to repair. I took it to the dealership and they ordered the part from Gulfstream. If it were to happen again, I would look into getting a tank from some place like State trailer, Amazon, or some other supplier. I want to add an additional tank and increase my freshwater capacity as my tank is under the bed and I have room. Just a tight space for my big belly. Hahaha. Good luck.

Well my hubby is pretty handy as well, and he was able to repair it with epoxy , and thus far it has held well. Got us through the summer so that was nice. If we ever have it happen again , we will get a new tank that is larger as well because it’s just too small for us. Thanks for your input and the idea of getting a larger tank if it happens again.
