Newbee here. Thanks for letting me in your group.
I have been looking at RV diesels. Iseem to be drawn to Gulf Stream even though I don't know much about them. The prices seem to be a good bang for the Buck, at least from my prospective. I am looking at a
41' 2006 Gulfstream Friendship 400Hp Cummins w/4 Slides with 8k on the od. The asking price is 155,000. Are these units road worthy like a Monaco which I really love but can't afford? Is this a good price? Any other input would be greatly apreciated.

Welcome, danok. Can't speak for the Friendship. We've had a BT Cruiser, Sun Voyager and now a Tour Master. Since we have only had Gulf Stream vehicles I cannot make a comparison, but we are satisfied to this point. Charlie

That seems like a very low price for a 2006. Sticker price new is over 250K. Use lots of caution. You can read through the posts on this website for a wide range of opinions.

We bought an 03 Friendship and paid $10 grand more than what you are looking at. We bought it at a dealership. That would explain some of the difference. We love our Friendship but we are VERY DISAPPOINTED with Gulfstream. Their customer service is non existent. They don't return call or Emails. Their parts department is unreachable. It has taken four months to get parts for our coach. Needed because of an accident. They admitted to setting on the order for a month before even starting on it. We have been with out the use of our coach since mid July and as of today still no parts.
