2009 Gulfstream Caribbean, I have two air gauges on the left side cluster. Which gauge is for what system? One for brakes and one for suspension?

Searched and googled it and cannot find a answer so I'll refer it to the experts. That's y'all.

Thanks
LC

I believe the gauges are Primary and Secondary air systems (and both support the brakes if I recall correctly...) Here is a thread that may shed some light on your question...

Thanks Chuck. It was an interesting read but does not really answer my question. The diagram also is helpful. I did not think I had three tanks, I have a dryer, and two tanks I can see. Problem is when I stop the engine the right (passenger side) gauge loses pressure where the left (driver's side) will remain at 50 pounds or more. Right side loss is within 30 minutes and left side holds pressure overnight. Been under it with soap water so much the bottom of the couch is cleaner than the top side.😄

Thanks for your help, I'm sure it will help in the final analysis.

LC,

When you say the gauges are 'passenger side' and 'driver side' can you tell me which is the primary and which is the secondary? With the engine NOT running, try cycling the parking brake several times and see if you can tell which gauge is getting effected -- that one should be the primary. Then at least you may be closer to dividing the issue to a lesser set of potential connections and components... Let us know what you find.

Thanks for the idea. May take a bit before I can do it because I'm ducking tornadoes at the moment. The first batch missed us but we have three more days according to the weather guys. I'll post back as soon as I can do a pump down test.

On My 2000 sun voyager one is for front and one is for rear brakes. But I also have air over hydraulic breaks.

Follow up. Finally got the time to do the suggested brake application tests. Tanks at 150psi pump service brake and both gauges loose pressure. Rebuild pressure and set and release park brake several times and both tanks loose pressure. Beginning to think the tanks are tied together by a hose to share pressure. This does not help me chase my leaks. Used so much soapy water the underside of the coach is cleaner then the top side, used a bunch of incense sticks to see if they could detect air flow/leak and they did not help.

Thanks

Additional info. Green hose goes to left gauge, red hose goes to right gauge.
