Brand of Generator in Ford E350 Gulfstream1996

Hello,
This is the first time I post on this forum, but last year we bought a Ford E350 Gulfstream RV from 1996 without generator and now I'm looking for a generator that fits in and can use the original wiring, does somebody knows a brand or type or some thing it should be a Gasoline because
the engine is a power stroke V8 Diesel engine.

My first thought is if you have a diesel rig, get a diesel generator. That way there is no chance the wrong fuel can be put in the wrong tank and cause a serious problem. If you want a gas generator get a small Honda 3200. Now if your needs for wattage is higher then so be it. But if you install a permanent generator it should use the same fuel as your rig and can use the same tank as your main engine...just ideas to help you a little...

OK, if coach is diesel, you want Diesel GEN; likely an ONAN. I see older used, low hours gas RV GENS as low as $300-$600, maybe you can luck out on Diesel in same range and just a little repair to fix? The small electric fuel pump is a common issue w/ older units, gas or diesel and diesel electric lift pump just slightly higher pressure than carb engine gas pump. One guy got a diesel warranty GEN w/ just 30-hours for peanuts, found only issue was a rocker arm nut had come loose. Good Luck.
