BT Cruiser 5230B House Battery Upgrade

Can anyone with a 2018 BT Cruiser 5230B, or any recent tell me if I can safely replace my 12 volt flooded deep cycle batteries with AGM batteries? Will the battery converter need to be replaced to or will it be ok just to change the batteries with the AGMs? Thanks to everyone for the assist.

It should be good. The charge profile is very much the same. I replaced deep cycle with AGM in a camper van and ran for 5 years. No issues the same B2B, solar and charger.

Found this looks like you will need to watch for overcharging.
The AGM that I used were of larger capacities.

We added two AGM batteries, plus 800 watts of solar with a smaller inverter and the installer adjusted solar charge rate for AGM batteries. Our rig is a 2022 BT 5230. We also added a temp sensor MaxAir fan to help cool the rig even when stored in our driveway. The installer also confirmed the shore powered charger is set for AGM batteries. We will one day upgrade Lithium batteries. My phone has an App now that allows me to check solar and battery status.

Sounds cool. We upgraded to lithium and added solar. Had to change the Converter/Charger added a Battery to Battery charger. I went with a 3000 watt hybrid inverter. I found this not to be efficient at charging the batteries from the solar. One reason was that the inverter had to be on for the solar to charge. The second reason was that the 800 watts of solar had to be in series to enable the charging portion of the hybrid inverter. I added 2 separate MPPT charge controllers and divided the collectors into 2- 400 watt strings. This works much better. If one panel is shaded I only lose a portion of my charging capacity.
