This was my solution for driverside window noise. It is 1 inch by 2 inches. The company also makes this in anodized black at aditional cost. It is a much more robust material than the typical aluminum angle stock and I believe looks better.

Nice job. Looks sleek. Did you add the awning for the window. We installed one and we use it a lot.
I replaced the 3 frameless windows with sliders. We found that not only are the original windows noisy at above 45, they leak air.
We love that the sliders open 1/2 of the area to get more air flow. We have the old frameless widows if anyone needs them?

I did install the 2 awnings, on the large windows…nice to have on a small rv. We use them all the time, even in reasonably windy conditions, and have had no problem. (Not so much with patio awning!) The passenger side was more of a challenge to find space for the awning arm, because of interference from the arm of the large factory installed patio awning. I was able to design a bracket from aluminum stock, which has worked well. Yes, the slider windows are probably the best choice for noise control on driver’s side, but the less expensive choice using the aluminum angle fit the budget

Nice job on the awnings. I didn’t think of adding a passenger side awning, but now it’s being considered. You’re right I don’t trust the big awning in any winds. The window awning make a lot of sense
